I had struggled with a week of clear skies, and even some fires, which are seen on the other side of the canyon.. Finally, on the last day of my expedition, I got some clouds at sunset and was rewarded with this fantastic image.
Why does it always work that way? Just when you are ready to never return to a location due to bad luck with the weather, Mother Nature allows you to capture something really cool. Now I want to go back.
