Fine Art Photography As Artwork For Your Home
Landscape photography captures a moment in time of an outdoor scene that conveys what the photographer was seeing and feeling. Landscape photographs, in turn, give the viewer of the artwork the opportunity to experience those same feelings.
Landscape Photography As An Art Form
For perhaps hundreds of years, paintings and their reproductions is what generally came to mind when thinking about artwork for home décor. Beginning with some of the modern-day photographers like Ansel Adams, Galen Rowell and a few others, fine art landscape photography began to be accepted as artwork for the home.
Today, artists like myself are able to provide Landscape Photography prints with extreme detail and clarity that are printed on new mediums, such as Lumachrome TruLife Acrylic, allowing you to bring home the experience of a location like never before. One of these large prints allows you practically transport yourself into the scene.
Creating World-Class Fine Art Landscape Photographs
I will spend days in the field waiting for the right conditions, returning to the same location multiple times, if needed, taking a photograph only in the best light under the best weather conditions.
Using an ultra high resolution digital camera in a meticulous manner, I can create the sharpest and largest possible original digital negative. This is followed by hours of editing and software adjustments to bring out what I was seeing and feeling at the moment the photograph was taken. The ability of the human eye to capture a range of light far exceeds what the best digital cameras are able to do, which is why the digital darkroom time is so critical.
The Final Product For Your Home
The final step is providing world-class prints. I only work with a select number of high-end professional specialty printing firms that can produce the high quality of artwork that I am looking to provide to my clients. These Luxury Fine Art Landscape prints cannot be produced by low-cost budget printing firms. The artwork can be framed or frameless to fit different home decors, as shown in my Print Options page.
The Advantages Of Working Direct With The Artist
To achieve the very best result in your home, working direct with the artist will do just that. You can rest assured that I am available to answer all of your questions, provide professional advice and even provide a customized product, if desired. I can also provide mockups of artwork for a room in your home, as shown on my Room Preview page.
The Advantages to You Of An Online Gallery
It is certainly enjoyable to visit a brick and mortar gallery, and see first-hand the artwork. However, this is an expensive arrangement that substantially increases the cost of the artwork to the collector. I offer my work exclusively on this website, passing along the cost savings to you. This also allows me more time to find new locations, at which to create new images for you to choose from. Please see the How To Choose page for help with your selection process.
