I spent a frantic pre-dawn morning in Sedona trying to calculate where the best light was going to be at sunrise. I loved what I was seeing develop in the southeast so I headed down to the the Courthouse Butte area and hoofed it down the trail to get a clear view of the clouds and the way the sunrise was lighting up the red rocks. I have not experienced a scene like this in Sedona before. If only conditions were like this more often. I won't be forgetting this one.
