It was before dawn as I headed to Bodega Bay. I was a little concerned about the amount of fog as I was thinking more along the lines of a photo with brighter skies as I had previously captured on the Big Sur Coast. As I stood there taking in the scene, I realized that the moodiness of the fog was beautiful and perfect for this location. Pre-conceived thoughts can simply be wrong. I really do love how this worked out.
