Crystal Clear
Crystal Lake, Colorado
A Limited Edition, Fine Art photograph of Red Mountain and Fall Aspen trees reflecting perfectly in Crystal Lake at sunrise in Southwest Colorado. Available as a Fine Art print, Metal print or Acrylic print.
I didn't know what to expect from the sky on this very cold fall morning at Crystal Lake. I settled into position on the back side of the lake while it was still pretty dark and waited, as usual. The sun rises from your left, so there will never be huge amounts of color, but you hope for some interesting clouds to compliment the composition.
As the sun came up, the clouds lit up and beautifully offset the rock and the grass in the foreground. I quickly took three vertical images to be able to include the sky and foreground and then blended them together to obtain this image. The result was everything I had hoped for.

Lumachrome® HD Trulife® Face Mounted Acrylic Print, Ready to Hang
Choose For An Elegant, Frameless Look In Any Environment
The museum-quality gold standard, with a striking backlit 3D appearance and a hyper-rich tonal range from its 1200 dpi printing process. The TruLife® acrylic virtually eliminates reflections.
This incredible print is then adhered to a second sheet of acrylic glass, and a 1.25-inch-thick composite floating frame is mounted to the rear, which allows it to appear to “float” on the wall.
Trulife® acrylic blocks up to 99% of UV rays and has a hard coat that protects against scratches and cleans like glass.

Choose For Creating The Ultimate Focal Point
All of the benefits of the Trulife® Acrylic, plus adding a 4-inch-wide Roma Tabacchino frame and a 3-inch black or white linen liner.
The frame and liner add 14 inches to both the horizontal and vertical dimensions of a print. For example, a 30 x 45 inch print will have framed dimensions of 44 x 59 inches. In the framed example shown here, it represents a print 30 inches on the short side.
