This is a completely different set of images from Lavender Vally that was done in a panoramic format. I normally don't shoot a scene both ways, but this was one of those rare exceptions.
This was one that had been on my list for a while. It's been photographed many times by others, but I simply wanted to do it myself. There's not much else to shoot in the area in mid-July, so it took a special trip to capture this. It was well worth the time and it's nice to be able to cross it off the list.
My appreciation goes to the Lavender Valley Farm in Hood River for allowing photographers to come in before sunrise. I had it all to myself and had a blast. It makes all the difference being able to capture the early light on Mount Hood.
