Emerald Lake is one of the most photographed scenes in the Canadian Rockies. Nevertheless, I could not pass up the opportunity to photograph it while I was there photographing other winter scenes. While capturing a unique image is certainly desired, I was so pleased to have been at Emerald Lake with such incredible sunset conditions. Many may have photographed it, but few have done so under these conditions.
