I have found that when I'm out photographing in an area, I simply have to go down every road I can find on the map. It requires some serious optimism and effort, but when you come across a scene that you had no idea existed, it makes all the time and effort worthwhile.
It was mid-morning by the time I found this, so I came back the next morning before sunrise to capture it in the best light. It is one of those images that made an entire trip worthwhile.
