This beautiful setting is in a remote park northeast of Portland, Oregon. I awoke to a cloudy morning without a breath of wind and knew this would be the perfect time to head up to Moulton Park.
The tranquility of the scene is extraordinary and it is a joy to move around and play with the various compositions that present themselves. I decided on a panoramic capture and this image was the result of five vertical images stitched together providing tremendous detail for a large print.
The reflection of the bridge reminded me of the portal in Stargate, hence the name Green Portal.
