This one had been on my list for a couple of years. I finally made the commitment to shoot this on a trip to Mount Rainier.
It's a slippery scramble down the muddy bank to get to the water, with the last part aided by a rope to rappel down. Wading out in the river with my rubber boots and trying not to slip and fall was fun. There's just something about having to work for a shot that makes it more rewarding.
If you're ever in Washington, its about 2 hours south of Mount Rainier and worth the trip.
