During my time on the Outer Banks, I wanted to capture the sun rising behind the trees in Lake Matamuskeet, which I knew would be happening during the time of the year I was there.
The weather was unpredictable, but with a partly cloudy morning in the forecast, I headed over in the dark before sunrise. I couldn't have been happier with the result.
