There is something about the jagged rock formations surrounding the river at Smith Rock State Park that attract me to go there at sunset when I am in the area of Bend, Oregon. We were only going to be there for one night, so I didn't have my hopes up for a great sunset, as they don't happen every day.
To my surprise, we got a great one! Now I will just have to debate the next time I am in the area if I should go by to try to get something better, which is a little unlikely.
